About
Su Nelson (she/human) is a Canadian visual artist based in Aotearoa. Her sculptural art practice explores the inter-worlds of materiality, psychology, and relational pluralities through a broad range of media, including rescued remnants and readymade objects.
Su recently completed a Master’s in Visual Arts at AUT with previous arts training at the (former) Vancouver Academy of Art, the Otago Polytechnic School of Art (Dunedin), and Auckland University's Elam School of Fine Arts (PGDip), including a Master's in Arts Management (1st Class Hons) at Whitecliffe College of Art and Design (Auckland).
